A Few Words About Us

Blackwater and Hawley are two parishes next to each other in the northeastern corner of Hampshire. Located about 30 miles from central London, many residents commute to work in the London business areas. Visitors to Blackwater and Hawley do well to look at hiring a taxi or minibus while visiting the area. For large groups, coach rentals are available. This frees visitors from having to deal with the commute traffic from London and from visitors to this popular Hampshire area.

Points of interest include:

  • Hawley Lake and beach
  • headquarters of Sun Microsystems in the United Kingdom
  • Guy Fawkes Day celebration

Blackwater River flows through this area from the Blackwater River Valley. This river area is quite popular with tourists.

Our for hire taxis, minibuses and coaches are clean and punctual. Clients find the service is reliable and quite restful after a busy day in the town or at the lake area.

Hawley Lake is used as a training area by the British Army for basic sailing and the lake is open to water skiing, jet skiing and dinghy sailing. The Army puts on several firework displays throughout the year. Both of these towns are small and have little local transportation with the exception of A30, a main national route. The south side of Blackmore and Hawley receive the central United Kingdom broadcasting network, while the north end of town receives the London based ITV network. Thus, only part of the town receives local news broadcasts which can create confusion for visitors. Hiring a car saves visitors from dealing with this problem.
